👩‍⚕️ Part II: They consulted 17 therapists, 18 anxiety recoverers, and 23 depression recoverers for their top "keys" to recovery and rated 7 popular affirmations (crowdsourcing success!)

🗝️ The findings: In all cases, the most prevalent response was the belief in one's own power to heal or change. The most helpful tools for healing and recovery included medication, seeking professional help, cognitive restructuring, relaxation exercises–including positive affirmations, physical exercise, and social support.

💬 Most helpful affirmations were along the lines of: "I'm not crazy, just concerned" (for anxiety) and "This depression will pass" (for depression) 🙌

Moral of the story? Don't go it alone, friends! Seek professional help, explore treatment options, and keep those helpful affirmations on repeat. Get help from multiple sources, be open to trying new self-tailored interventions, and remember – this too shall pass (phew!) Your mental wellness will thank you later! 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️
